Friendly staff who made sure I felt welcome.
The shared bathroom could use more frequent cleaning.

Had a blast with my friends! We explored the nearby parks and checked out some great local eateries. The comfy rooms were perfect for our group, and the parking was convenient and reasonably priced. Breakfast was decent too, but we didn't get to try the cooked options since we left early. Highly recommend it for a budget-friendly stay!
One minor thing to note, there was only one towel provided for my stay. It was a bit inconvenient, so be sure to ask for extras if needed.

Perfect for a budget traveler
First off, the breakfast here was unreal – we got a full Scottish breakfast, cooked to order, and I've never had such a good one in a guesthouse before. Plus, the staff were super attentive, like, they even found a blanket for my dad when it was chilly outside, made all the difference!
It wasn't exactly inexpensive, but it was worth it for the experience.

We had a wonderful stay with our family and pets. The spacious family room was immaculate, and the location was perfect for exploring the city. The breakfast was fantastic, offering an array of choices, and the service was just exceptional, making our visit truly memorable.
For dads, it would be great if there were more play areas or pet-friendly spaces for families with children.

A Cozy Retreat with Room for Improvement
I enjoyed my stay here for two nights in a Single Room. The place exudes charm, but be prepared for shared toilets. The creaky stairs could be a concern for light sleepers. The breakfast offered wasn’t up to par this time. For a quiet stay, consider staying on higher floors.

The rooms maintain a cozy atmosphere, with a welcoming tray waiting upon arrival that adds a personal touch. Access to a microwave offers convenience wanting to prepare their own snacks.
The guest house's design feels somewhat dated, with the need for a noticeable makeover. Pillows lack support and the beds can be squeaky, causing disturbances during the night. Thin walls allow sounds from adjacent rooms to intrude on your peace, making privacy a concern. The heater in my room didn’t function, although the bathroom one did, creating a bit of an imbalance. the parking fee feels a bit steep when free options are available nearby after certain hours.

Cozy yet modest, with a good location close to Union Street and the train station. The room was clean and included tea and coffee, which was a nice touch, alongside reliable Wi-Fi. the lack of space for clothes hanging was inconvenient, and the on-street parking fees were quite high. Breakfast was decent for the price, but overall, the value for money could be better.
